We are delighted to welcome you to the Free Virtual International Conference -  Exploring the Impact of Disability Access Across the Spectrum: Birth to Employment hosted by the University of Guyana in collaboration with Texas Southern University, Association on Higher Education and Disabilities [AHEAD], Rutgers Center for Minority Serving Institutions [CMSI], Carroll Community College, Joyful Signing, and the Guyana Ministry of Education. Join us on October 30, 2025, for an inspiring global gathering dedicated to advancing accessibility, inclusion, and empowerment for persons with disabilities.

About the Conference

This event brings together individuals with disabilities, thought leaders, advocates, educators, policymakers, and innovators from around the world to share knowledge, explore solutions, and strengthen networks that promote disability rights and inclusive development. Expect a dynamic keynote address, featured speakers, and concurrent panels and presentations that span the spectrum of disability access covering education, technology, policy, and social inclusion.

  • Rutgers Center for Minority Serving Institutions [CMSI]:  Housed within The Samuel Dewitt Proctor Institute for Leadership, Equity, and Justice (Proctor Institute) at Rutgers University, New Jersey, USA, CMSI has a mission to elevate educational contributions, increase rigorous scholarship, connect academic and administrative leadership, advance effective policies, close educational achievement gaps and assessment performance, and bring together Minority Serving Institutions (MSIs).
